Employer safety duties (Art. 83)

The employer shall take all the safety measures to protect workers, machines and materials used in the establishment, and occasional visitors against work risks. The employer shall further provide safety and occupational health aids required for this purpose as stipulated in the resolution issued by the competent minister after considering the opinion of competent authorities. The worker shall not bear any costs and no amounts shall be deducted from the worker’s remuneration in consideration for providing him with protection means.
